Introduction
Hello there! Welcome to my digital garden. This is a space for me to write down my ideas, notes about books, articles, topics that I find interesting, projects that I have worked on and am working on, and anything else that I want to remember or share with others, and occassionally complain about life, the world, the universe, and sometimes tech. This is also a place where you will find my opinionated takes on various topics, such as vim being a superior editor and that the world needs more empathy and kindness.
About me
I am currently a software engineer at Raft.
My primary domain of expertise and interest is backend and distributed systems. I have been working with Python / FastAPI for the last 4 years, and recently started exploring Go and Rust.
Recently I have also been exploring AI and Agentic systems and dipping my toes in agent frameworks and orchestration. I have worked with Agno and Pydantic AI.
I love building stuff. Stuff that already exists, and stuff that fixes an itch in my brain. Sometimes they work, most times they barely work.

I like reading. I haven’t been able to read much recently due to work, and the general reduction of attention span from social media. I have been reading again. To highlight a few:

- AI Engineering by Chip Huyen
P.S. The whole site is a work in progress.
